Lately there are so many films being adapted from the comic book medium that it’s getting rare when you find a weekend box office report that’s not emblazoned with a hero in a cape. Today’s westerns really are superhero flicks, and sometimes I wonder how long that will last. A nice twist I came across today was reading Viper Comics’ FIVE SENSES. This is the first time I sat down and read a comic and just wished the entire time that it was already a movie. And that’s not saying that the art or layout in the comic was at all lacking, hell no, it’s sharp as hell. It’s just that the story brought to us by writer Jake Black and artist Justin Wayne is so well presented that I could see it as a movie.
